[VLOG] Baby Boy Nursery Decor & DIY Facial Moisturizer
We are officially in our third trimester, and I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing a peek into our baby boy’s nursery decor. This project was loosely inspired by Erin Napier’s nursery for her daughter Helen - as soon as I saw that space pop up in my Pinterest feed I knew I wanted a green nursery. We ended up opting for a brighter green, and went with Clary Sage by Behr. It looks super soft in natural light all throughout the day, and slightly more vibrant at night in artificial light. The other inspiration I took directly from Erin’s nursery was for our lighting. I loved the idea of using sconces, and we ended up using these very affordable fixtures from Home Depot - just $30 each! We actually have the same sconces on either side of our bed in our master bedroom. Check out the video above for a full tour of the space as it is currently - we still have lots to do!
Also in this vlog I talk through my updated skincare routine, as it’s changed a lot since I became pregnant. Pregnancy took a real toll on my skin from the very start, making it instantly so much more sensitive than it ever has been before. I’ve since switched over to an almost entirely natural and non-toxic routine, even making my own moisturizer! If you’re looking to simplify your skincare, the DIY facial moisturizer recipe I share in this video might be right up your alley. Watch the video above to learn how I make it. :)
As always, thank you for visiting the blog today and everyday, I really appreciate it. Xx Julia Rae
